Challenge

Lengermann & Trieschmann is one of the most traditional department stores in the German-speaking world. The challenge was to translate the in-store shopping experience into a lightning-fast, modern e-commerce platform — without losing the personal character and breadth of the product range. The platform also had to meet the highest performance standards, even under heavy traffic.

Implementation

Hob by Horse realised a forward-looking headless PWA solution based on Shopware 6. By decoupling frontend and backend, a lightning-fast, app-like shopping experience was created that works optimally on all devices.

The Progressive Web App allows customers to use the L&T shop even offline and offers a native app experience directly in the browser — no download required. The Shopware 6 backend infrastructure ensures efficient product data management and seamless system integration. The result is a platform that takes L&T's digital commerce to the next level.
