Challenge

E3DC is the market leader in home storage systems and stands for technological innovation, quality, and sustainability. The challenge was to make the complexity of the products — energy storage systems, wallboxes, and intelligent control systems — comprehensible and tangible in an e-commerce platform while meeting the highest technical requirements.

Implementation

Hob by Horse realised a headless commerce platform based on Shopware 6 for E3DC. The headless architecture allows maximum flexibility in designing the frontend and ensures the platform grows with the company's requirements.

A particular focus was placed on the clear presentation of technically demanding products. Interactive product configurators help prospective customers find the right solution for their individual energy needs. Interfaces to ERP and customer management were seamlessly integrated.
