The challenge
The aim was to develop a completely new Shopware 6 store that not only meets the requirements of a highly individualized front end, but is also seamlessly integrated with other systems such as SAP, FactFinder, Kronos and Indigo (ERP) via numerous interfaces. In addition, a connection to the physical store (POS) was to be created in order to offer a holistic solution for online and offline retail.
Implementation
The newly developed Shopware 6 store was realized with a tailor-made front end that exactly meets the customer’s expectations. The designs of a renowned design agency were translated into digital form, revised from a UI and UX perspective and finally implemented technically. Particular attention was paid to user-friendliness and design in order to meet the highest aesthetic and functional requirements.
One highlight is the integrated editorial area, which makes it possible to manage editorial content and give the store a special touch. This enriches the store not only with products, but also with content that strengthens the brand essence.
The integration of numerous interfaces ensures a smooth exchange of data and processes between the store and the connected systems. For example, product data is imported from SAP, intelligent search and filter functions are supported with FactFinder and ERP processes are efficiently managed via Indigo. In addition, a connection to the retail analysis tool Kronos is established in order to transfer store sales and enrich the data.
Another highlight is the seamless connection to the point of sale (POS), which makes it possible to optimally link stationary and digital retail. This allows stocks, sales and customer information to be synchronized in real time.
